Posted by Deb on 1/21/2006, 11:55 am My girl is 11 years old 73% Appy according ApHc and is solid so I need a known producer of color. Please no modern lines such as Goer or Impressive also no Wapiti who is out of 2 Quarter horses. My girl carries Shavano, Navajo Britches, Toby and Patchy lines. Her grandsire is linebred on Navajo Britches through Boogie Whirl (Boogie Britches, an own son of Navajo Britches x Miss Whirl, a granddaughter of Navajo Britches. One gr. grandsire is line bred on Patchy through Topatchy, a Toby II son x Kathy, a Patchy daughter. On the top her gr. grand My Liege, line-bred on Shavano, through Brent Lea, out of Tyner’s Alope, a daughter of Shavano x Shavanese also a Shavano daughter. Toby is a few spot and 100% color producer. There is another stallion Shamolia but he is in Michigan, however they do AI. I am looking for a Appaloosa Stallion that has old blood semi-close up. I do not want Quarter horse but Thoroughbred is OK.
There are still old lines out there such as Toby's Lucky Moon and Nootka in Salem Oregon, but I am not able to get her that far financially and they do not AI.
I am located in Northern CA and would like to find a Stallion in CA or NV or close to the OR CA border. I am willing to work up a breeders contract if the right interested party would like to invest in her breeding.
