Dear Angel,
I am the assistant registrar and the Midwest Regional Coordinator for the North American Shagya Arabian Society. I will be happy to clue you in and share all the information you might want about Shagyas. You might want to visit our website: www.shagya.net for a list of approved Shagya breeding stallions. There are also newsletters you can download to learn who the breeders are in the United States.
Shagyas are Arab-bred sport horses which were developed in Hungary. They have retained the best characterteristics of the Arab horse, but with a bigger frame, more bone and quieter temperament.
Please email me if you would like more information!
Yours sincerely,
Terry Hey
