Posted by Iceman on 10/18/2002, 11:38 am After the morning sesh at FOOD LION...we all got out about 1230 pm and were gonna head back down to the Lighthouse. While standing around jawing-cell phoning and all...MPT and I got to talking about that, "It's a good day to die" remark he cryptically had me throw into my CAPE PINES SURF SHOP SURF REPORT. We were both "marvelling" a bit that if did indeed DIE that day along the sands and times of FOOD LION BEACHES...he would have LITERALLY CALLED the day of his own death. Heavy. As then...still gives me goose-bumps when I think about the ramifications of it all. Oh well, we'll ALL just have to wait for ANOTHER DAY I suppose. That's nice. Ice --Previous Message--

Mid 70's FLORIDA DUDES...what do they know about anything?

: ...the mid "70's.
: MPT, sorry to hear about your piledrive.
: Had a few of those myself. Feels like a
: bolt of lightening shot through the body
: and you wonder if .....well you know!
: It must of been heavy. Reading Ice's quotes
: from the CapePine's Wed am and your
: "we're gonna die" made me wonder
: what I would've done if I'd been there.
: Waited till it backed off a little? I
: doubt it-I'm sure the testosterone was
: pumping w/ all you guys there and good
: reason does not come easy.
: Anyway, your stmt of hesitation made me
: remember Jeff Crawford's quote. That is
: one of my rules in the water, Do NOT
: hesitate. Seems as if when I do, it never
: works out.
: Nonetheless, sounds like ya'll had fun and
: look forward to meeting/surfing w/ you
: guys! I think Hatteras is calling me
: soon!
