Posted by jt on 10/18/2002, 3:49 pm It's the first time EVER (for me) that the compression and spit ripped me from my stance as I neared the exit. I was speaking to my shaper yesterday and he said that the most likely reason I kept getting blown off my board in the barrel was because I was riding with the mini thruster fin trailer instead of a normal sized fin...go figure..lesson learned..Note to self....switch to a bigger thruster fin when in spitting surf. Thanks again mal.....Hey Icie..you're too nicey....The ones you saw from down the beach were the ones where I got slapped like a hO!! --Previous Message--

every DEEP barrel I pulled into that afternoon had it's way with me.

: DISCLAIMER: I am not a photographer!!! I
: left
: my good camera home, because I thought I
: would be surfing all day. So these pics
: were taken with a cheap 35 mm. I just
: batch scanned these, so they're grainy,
: and you have to look hard to find the
: surfer in the pics, but here goes: JT
: pulling into one (he's the little white
: streak midway up the face): JT
