Hey bigspenda lol
sorry took so long to reply well the evening was okish jerry herman was very unwell and was not able to attend this gala but i hear he is a little better.thankgod for angela lansbury being there she was wonderfull and soon as she walked on she had a standing ovation which was lovely for her at 83. the royal philharmonic was wonderfull to but felt it was not loud enough. there was a guy who sang i am what i am it was very painfull to listen to no one does it like our shirley.the show was rushed together i felt the lighting was terrible there were 3 other lady singers form the usa who were fantastic.this gala was for the charity crusaid and i felt they over priced the tickets they were form £15-£170 pounds and they only sold i think a 3rd of the tickets.me and my friend was in cheap seats lol £15 pounds and asked for upgrade to the stalls row s which were about £100 pounds plus i guess there was a lot of unhappy people who paid full price then to find out lots had been upgraded i would have been a little annoyed.this was for a good cause but i feel people have not got money now to go to all these events etc.i was lucky to be able to go to this event and had a lovely evening with my friend but was little dissapointed thankyou for showing interest in this was very nice of you.hope your well and sure will say hi again soon my best wishes howard
