I was thinking back, and decided it would be nice to share that one song which made you a Dame Shirley fan in the first place.
I knew of her for a long time before, but for me i fell in love with her voice at 15, after hearing Dame Shirley live on Parkinson, singing 'Thank You for the Years' in 2003. It happened again, the age of 18, listening to her live performance (the only one on youtube) of 'Still' by Lionel Richie.
From then on, i've been stuck with her voice as my favourite to listen to.
Any one else?
