Following the concert of Mandela's Birthday on television I cannot help to think what statement the performance of my favorite performer would make at such an event. And more, what other statement would come out of her mouth beside her outstanding voice. People who know my contribution to this Board from some time ago, know that I am truly an admirer of our great Dame. No other singer have given me so much joy throughout the years, but I can be a critical admirer too. So my thought about all this is not at all without respect or whatsoever. I simply wonder in what way she would "explain" her being there herself. And more, in what way would she be announced by the host
It cannot be true that she would appear on stage doing her "Goldfinger entrance" in such an atmosphere. She would seem out of this world.
No, this time, I could do without our Dame. Just this once, she would seem out of style.
