Just back home after last evenings concert. I know it has been said before by others but I have to say it again; last nights performance was sensational. She looked wonderful and the voice had so much control and power. I remember first seeing her in '75 and have followed her career closely over the last 32 years; attending as many concerst as I could. Last evening she exceeded all my expectations and gave a performance and experience that was better than I could have ever hoped for. God I hope that David Arnold can get her to do the next Bond Theme. The new songs were terrific, the old ones as wonderful as ever. And Shirley - well quite simply sublime!
