I'm truly in awe of this woman!
I simply want to say that I feel so very proud and lucky to have been with her since the late 50's. Not usually lost for words but I am tonight! We have to be thankful that the BBC has given us, for posterity, the chance to see this amazing performance. The concert itself was awesome but I have to say that I don't think I have ever been so affected by a live performance as the one she gave of Performance. A truly influential and timely song delivered as Shirley knows how. Dearest Shirley, thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing what you've done.
