This whole strand is a bloody shame if you ask me.
Steve is merely communicating his personal opinion (which I happen to agree with). He is a very special and genuine person and Brian and Simon have completely misinterpreted his message and it's intent.
I appreciate that you have ordered copies of the CD, as indeed I have, however, sometimes downloads can be available before the official CD and this can adversely affect CD sales and chart positions (as with the recent Pet Shop Boys album release)and I am sure we all want the highest chart position for Dame Shirley - so I agree with Steve that we should wait/order the CD and use the download afterwards.
I also think it's great to hear the new tracks both live and on the radio for publicity purposes - but again I must side with Steve as there is something more special about listening to the full album in it's intended entire running order as decided by David Arnold and Shirley.
Brian and Simon - back off - we are all entitled to an opinion.
