I don't know obviously as I wasn't in on the sessions but I imagine that Shirley was very much less in control of the recording process on this CD. By this I mean that she wouldn't have been able to throw the music up in the air after the 3rd take and move onto the next song, a scenario told by Sergio Novak. This is pure speculation but as David Arnold was in the driving seat and there were no familiar producers/managers/husbands etc around she was managed through the process. I may be talking rubbish but the results speak for themselves!!!
