Haven't heard the album yet, but so far I agree there is this air of novelty and daring in the way the songs are delivered..and Dame mentioned in an interview she had been working with avocal coach, and obviously, per say, her head register is a very underrated and underexploited vocal territory. I am happy so far for what I have heard is something really new - a new creation, that is when a performer and songwriters and producers give up a little conventional part of their former selves to reveal and create something new, something bigger. I have a feeling, on this record they achieved that. I am proud. Bassey is Bassey, yet a new one.
