Blessed are the people who re-discovered the talent and artistry of Dame Shirley Bassey. Who've had the nerve to launch this project by means of their craftmanship. I dare say that The Performance is the first concept album Shirley has ever recorded. A bit sad to remark this after such a long status of recording; this is THE total package a artist of her leaque deserves. The production is well preserved. Additional notes and lyrics included as well as beautiful pictures. How I long for the vinyl album covers in these matters, but that's another story.
Holland salute you, Dame Shirley Bassey! You did a very fine job I regard as a present.
Thank you for all my yesterdays, my todays and tomorrows!
