I asked a mate in the music business why any artist's album is always annoyingly released on a Monday and not the Friday or Saturday so all us working folk can buy it- the answer was its because the way the UK music charts work- you have to have a full week of sales prior to the chart listing recording the full week's previous sales- so they have to release it on Monday- or something along these line which makes sense but I would have loved to have bought the album yesterday instead of waiting till Monday!
