Thanks Jed, You are absolutely right. I dug out my vinyl copy of "The Shirley Bassey Collection Vol II" and it does include a re-make of "Burn My Candle". It also contains a re-make of "Kiss Me". I then listened to my copy of "The Shirley Bassey Collection Vol I" and it contains the swing version of "As I Love You". I guess Shirley must have re-recorded these old songs so she could take them forward in her career after leaving the Philips lable. Cheers and thanks mate!
