I have just watch, again, Shirley's performance on the Shirley On TV dvd. What a competent and confident performer: music starts, theatrical delay before coming on stage....and then, in front of Royals, takes her time bowing, flicks the fish tail, picks up the microphone stand, puts it where she wants it, makes sure the microphone cable is right, and then starts singing. A true star!
During the performance she displays her red painted finger nails, they sit, briefly, like a chandelier around her neck.
Maybe it's the lighting arrangement, but her arms and hands and fingers seem to be separated from her and have a life of their own.
I have one question though....why the Werewolf hair style/wig? I know it's not cool to make negative comments about DSB but consider that hair style to 1973 and the cute side parting hair style. But then, in 1971 I had a hairstyle... I had hair, not now!
