I agree with you Brian I cannot understand how Dame Shirley deserves any criticism at all. Her performance was perfectly polished as always. Her voice was great; at 75 she reached notes that some of the younger performers couldn't reach at 25! Compared to all the veteran performers she out shone them all; with the exception of Tom Jones. At times some of their voices made me cringe and it was painful to listen to. When and if DSB ever descends to this level then it is time to criticise NOT now!
