This marketing is the best we’ve had since the 70’s. From the 80’s onward Dame Shirley’s marketing of an album has always been piss poor! Perhaps if Decca / Universal had been involved since the 90’s and ploughed as much time and money into previous albums as they clearly have with this one they’d have done better. I realise social media is playing a huge part in all of this but without it we’d have nothing. Dame Shirley is a hip 83yr old who moves forward with technology.
A lot of people are saying it’s a huge shame this is perhaps her last album as the marketing of it is something else. It’s a shame there’s always people who are simply never happy.
