Oh dear the same ongoing debate. The woman is nearly 86 for goodness sake! Of course she does not possess the voice of her prime. But my god she is remarkable. She still thrills an audience and herself through the sheer joy of her exuberant love of performing. Little imperfections are outshone by her amazing presence and the undiminished power of her dynamic presentation. A star who shines with increasing brilliance because she is still out there! May she continue to delight us all with these special performances. We will miss her so much when it's all finally over. To walk out and wow an audience like that? Remarkable. What courage. What unbridled joy in living. At 86 I'll be chuntering to myself in a chair if I'm still here!! She can still rock a huge crowd and pull them to their feet to salute her mastery. DSB I salute you with dear love and enduring respect xx
