Born to Sing Forever was originally the B side to the 7" single of 'There's No Place Like London' back in 1985, I have it. It was never on any compilation cd's that were issued and it was a Towerbell recording and they went bust.
Dame Shirley put it into her stage act from 1994 for several years, gave it a big band feel and sang it much quicker than the original single.
The significance of this song is that it was the last one that Norman Newell ever wrote fro her, he had written and arranged many songs for Shirley from 1959.
