I just found this message board - and looks like lots of experience dealing with different issues around closet smoking.
I've been a closet smoker for the past 5 years, after having quit for over 12. My wife doesn't know.
Last week, in a routine physical,my doctor found an "unclear spot" on chest x-ray and now wants me to go for a CT scan. I'm really scared about this - not only the possible health implications, but if there should be something there, how do I now explain this to my wife who thinks she's married to a nonsmoker. (She does know I used to smokre - I quit just before we met.)
Any advice?
