hi amy, im in the uk also and keeping up with your closet smoking adventures. i too have been in the closet for 15 years, started when i ws 13, stopped, started again at university, stopped again but always kept getting drawn back to it. i love the secrecy and control factor is has over me, cancelling plans just so i can sit and smoke alone. sad but exciting at the same time. i typically smoke 8-10 cigs a day, a couple before work, and then all evening when home. the hiding places were the same as mine under furniture etc.. when i ived at home, luckily i now live alone but you still have to know where your fags and lighter are stashed in case you get a surprise visitor!
as for sex and smoking, its the best! getting a blow job while a girl smokes for you is an intense sexual experience. you would be surprised how many people that are non smokers enjoy a cig after sex. maybe you should surprise your hubby by giving him a good going over in the bedroom, then roll over and pull out a cig and share it with him?
its worth a try, you have to find out sometime as im sure you cannot spend the rest of your life with him as a smoker without him ever finding out?
also do you not think he may already know, but he feels he cannot approach the subject and discuss it with you? closet smoking works the other way round for the non smoker, they keep their feelings in the closet as they are not sure how to deal with a partner who smokes, and whether approaching it may cause the relationship to come to an end
