Good post.
I long to light up in the bedroom, I am familiar with the thoughts about non-smokers not being able to talk about the subject, but it just seems impossible to do.
My worries are- A-what if he hated me for it and it puts a possible crack in our marriage (sounds silly I know but some people despise smoking) and B-worse still he may say he cant trust me as I have been sneaking around behind his back.
As I have decided to remain a smoker you are right that I should really do something about it. I am just scared of the consequences and cant find the guts to do it.
I think you are right in that lighting up after passion would be the best route to go down rather than just tell him im a smoker. I could play it down as sexy craving in the bedroom, but even this "scenario" scares the heck out of me. I really wouldnt know until tried which way the outcome would be... If I had to antisipate an answer I would suggest he wouldnt like it.
I have previously posted that some of my girl friends smoke and when at their houses after drinks Iv had a few crafty puffs, this has developed a bit, as last time I was there I couldnt stop watching her smoke as I wanted one myself and she looked good too. She picked up on me watching her closley and told me to just smoke one. Whilst smoking away it all came out to her about my closet rituals, she was a little suprised and also suggested my hubby may not be impressed, so probably keep it under wraps. I am welcome to smoke with her whenever I feel the need.
I have considered leaving a pack of cigs on display in my handbag, and see what happens, if hubby doesnt immediatley flip I could try and explain, however, if he flipped straight away, I could say they belonged to my friend and she left them in the car.
So unsure what to do, so will do nothing for now.
Any further help suggestions welcome.
