Phil, I'm not sure why you would think that "All the fun of smoking would be compromised to satisfy an addiction." Have you tried it? A cigarette is a device for nicotine delivery, also. There are plenty of social smokers that only engage in the habit when they're at bars or drinking with friends. This is something new, certainly, but I don't see why it should be derided more than traditional tobacco smoking. I think a lot of people can appreciate the fact that it is less harmful, both to the user and to those around them. And to smoke in bars again? I think this would make a lot of bars I go to a lot more fun again.
