be sure to have a smoke right after starting the job or else you might start to feel like you are building up the non-smoking persona again and have trouble coming out and be stuck where you were at your last job.
ideally, your office set up allows you to notice when people leave or are heading for the exit, if it does then take note of anyone who leaves the office more than once during the day since they are probably a smoker, when you see them leave head outside right after them and join them.
it is not always easy to find other smokers though, i was very pleasantly surprised when i noticed a really hot woman i work with outside finishing a smoke one morning on the way to work, we had been working together for 2 or 3 months at least and i hadnt known she smoked, it was awesome having a hottie to smoke with until she left for another job a couple months later
