I had NEVER smoked in my car until recently. I take public transit to work, and there is an inordinately long traffic light at the entrance to the train station; I'm often stuck at this traffic light for about 5 minutes waiting to turn into the station parking lot. So, one morning when I was about to explode as I waited for the light to change, I found myself fumbling for a cigarette and lighting up in the car. My occasional smoking is my one vice, and this is about as rebellious as my smoking gets! I've found myself doing that more often recently, but I definitely want to hide the smell as best as I can. (Plus, I have 2 small children whom I would NEVER smoke around, but I still don't want to pollute the car too much, for their sakes.) I normaly roll the window down all the way and hold it either close to or out the window, plus turn on the air conditioner. Does that usually work to hide the smell or not? How have some of you been successful in hiding the smell in your car?
