I quit for 15 years, then about a month ago I tried it and it was so great that I decided I'd go back to smoking and never quit. But I want to keep it to very lite consumption for reasons that resemble why I quit in the first place.
While I don't regret my time off in the least, I have to say that I felt attracted to cigarettes the whole time, to one degree or another. I was never a heavy smoker either. I did some research. Now I know that if you have ever been a smoker, then your brain and body has physically adapted, and that adaptation never goes away, no matter how long you stay clean. So you are wired for life. Nothing will change that. Nobody ever talked about this when I started as a teen. The only question is how you're gonna manage it now. It comes down to priorities, I think.

: I used to be a regular smoker. I smoked for 15

: I've smoked an occasional cigarette since

: think about smoking! When I see someone
: smoking a cigarette, I want one too. I
