Welcome from me as well, lq! And extremely well-put, Tim! There are very, very few things in the world that are reliably as pleasurable and relaxing as a cigarette when you really need one. That cycle of need and fulfillment, and the deep enjoyment and satisfaction that comes with it, is something only a smoker gets to experience. And something only fellow smokers understand.
Whatever else transpires, lq, I think you'll find that even as smoking becomes second-nature, it never ceases to provide the pleasure that we smokers know and love.

: Welcome to the "club". Looks like
: you have achieved your goal. What you are
: now experiencing is what any regular smoker
: does. From experience, it'll get stronger
: and it'll happen after two hours instead of
: five. The half life of nicotine in one's
: system is two hours, which is why, for a
: regular smoker, a nicotine fit needs to be
: satisfied in that time.
:
: You've also noticed how that cigarette feels
: when you really need one. Nice, isn't it?
: That's what keeps us going back.
