So, she has at least been exposed to it. She could start behind your back... but not necessarily. You could acknowledge that it is a bad habit (but you must believe it yourself if you are to sell it entirely...or you could just say that yes, there are some negatives to smoking, but that there are also some positives to it), but be sure to emphasize that you will respect her decision whether she chooses to try it one day or not...and just ask for honesty.
And then follow through on it. There is a chance that she was experimenting with smoking before you tried it. Odds can be misleading. I would say if she were younger, chances and odds would go up, but being older, the odds are probably no different one way or another.
But remember, it does not inherently change you, and if your daughter started, it would not inherently change her either.
