I recommend that you just let her smoke. If she wants to smoke, she will, and there's nothing you can do about it--she will anyway, like I did, and still do. I too, started smoking when I was 12 and was smoking 3 packs a day by high school. Both of my parents smoked and I wanted to start at a very young age, like around maybe 7 or 8 years old, and my mother always told me that I could when I got older. Of course, this was the late 60s and things were different then. I started sneaking whenever I could and by age 12, I was a daily, regular smoker. My father was an alcoholic, and my mother told me she'd rather see me smoke than drink. I'm now 49 and smoke 3-4 packs a day of Parliament 100s, and I'd do it all over again. I don't drink very much and I've never done any drugs--never even smoked pot, but my cigarettes are my best friend.

: She's 12. I'm smoking about 10 a day.
: Yesterday kristi smoked 4. Her inhales are
: small. I'm only going to let her smoke in
: are house. Her only friend that smokes in
: abby kendra's daughter

: How old is kristi? How many do you smoke a
: day now?

: Tell us all tell us all - my fetish is

: Last I talk to my daughter kristi about
: smoking she said she wanted to try it so I
: show her how. She smoked half of a vs slim
: 120. Before bed she asked for one and she
: went to her room I don't know if she smoked
: the whole thing. Before work this morning I
: left her a fresh pack. I will let you know
: how she did tonight.

: So, she has at least been exposed to it.
: She
: could start behind your back... but not
: necessarily. You could acknowledge that it
: is a bad habit (but you must believe it
: yourself if you are to sell it entirely...or
: you could just say that yes, there are some
: negatives to smoking, but that there are
: also some positives to it), but be sure to
: emphasize that you will respect her decision
: whether she chooses to try it one day or
: not...and just ask for honesty.
:
: And then follow through on it. There is a
: chance that she was experimenting with
: smoking before you tried it. Odds can be
: misleading. I would say if she were
: younger, chances and odds would go up, but
: being older, the odds are probably no
: different one way or another.
:
: But remember, it does not inherently change
: you, and if your daughter started, it would
: not inherently change her either.

: If she's going to smoke she will behind my
: back right. I just don't want her to start
: but I did and I feel bad. I'm going to ask
: her about it and see what she say. I might
: just let her start cause she will if she
: wants to bad enough

: If you tell your daughter how bad smoking is
: why did start smoking? You should let her
: try it to see if she likes it. I let my
: girls smoke

: About a month ago my daughter and I went
: over
: to my friend kendra's (coworker that started
: me)house for a party. Her daughter is 13 and
: she's a smoker. I had to explain to my
: daughter that night how bad smoking is. Now
: I've started smoking so now what's the odds
: of my little girl starting?
