Hmmm. I'm sort of a half-in-the-closet smoker these days, since I live with friends, one of whom is extremely allergic. They know I smoke, as do a few others, and I don't particularly care what passers-by think. So, smoking in the car, after work, early in the morning, etc. are all feasible options for me.
However, every smoke for me means a chance to get out of the house and away from a lot of the reasons I was ever closeted. I've not told a lot of people close to me, but I'm not ashamed if they find out.
My favorite is probably tied between the first of the day and the late ones at night.
