I have been a smoker for 35 years but my wife had never smoked. At age 42 she tried and became an occasional smoker for a year and a half.
Prior to smoking, she had horrible sinus issues, but as she smoked more cigarettes, her sinus issues actually improved tremendously and she hasn't had to go on antibiotics in over a year.
She decided to quit smoking because she was concerned with the health issues but she is still using an e-cigarette a few times a week and enjoys the nicotine that this provides.
I guess it might be like taking allergy shots. If smoke bothers your sinuses, inhaling it over time will increase your resistance to its influence on your sinuses.
