The original charter of The Balboa Open was to foster a relaxed environment where people from all walks of life can get together, drink insane amounts of beer, burn bowl after bowl, throw horseshoes, and be stoked on the cool people around them...
To make sure the tournament does not become the Balboa Invitational I think that it should be expanded to a 32 team bracket...we can place one bye in each bracket if need be...
People should be welcomed to the tournament, not turned away from it..
