Speculation has been flying this morning concerning reigning Balboa Open champion Chris Mohler. It is rumored that while attending a horseshoe practice round Mohler was contacted by his agent and informed that his undisclosed partner was dumping him and replacing Mohler with a partner with whom a championship may be more likely. It has been confirmed that Mohler had another perfect day on the horseshoe pits going 5-0.
There has not been any official comment from Mohler or his representation.
