Returning champs are always the favorite, but history shows that winning twice in a row is a tricky feat.
The way I see it...it's all about the draw these days. The talent level, as someone educated Muff Diver in a recent post, has elevated in the past few years. There's really no easy draw, but there are clearly some hard ones.
The increased talent level is a humbling notion that brings us back to the reason we all get together; share a few laughs, drinks and other indulgences and celebrate a pretty cool experience that has conquered the test of time.
One lucky pair will Achieve Epic Glory, the rest of us will just be lucky for a day.
