Yepper. They worked the old AFL and then later AFC games on NBC back in the late 60's and early 70's.
Just hearing Gowdy's voice takes me back to watching George Blanda going out on to the field with 4 seconds left, and kicking a 40 yard field goal to give the Raiders a win. Seems like he did that every week.
