In the first episode she just about hits the road at the end. If she'd gone...who would've helped raised Opie? New Housekeeper?  Miz Edwards  Emma Brand/Watson  Mr.Schwump  someone from out of town  Aunt Nora and clan  Lavinia  a pack of hungry foxes  Thelma Lou  Juanita  other - do explain!
