Hey Al, I've got my mind on the classic "Frankenstein" film. I've never seen the full version, only clips. I want to knock it off my list of great films to see and was wondering if you had any thoughts on it. Is it terribly dated or will it still carry some impact? I may get the 75th Anniversary Edition. It looks like the best buy.
BTW, I did get "The Conversation" dvd and enjoyed it very much. I really liked the pacing of the film, even though some reviewers thought it was boring, I enjoyed the slow buildup. The "twist" also caught me off guard. If I had one bit of a knock, I guess it would be the dated technology. It doesn't carry the same "wow" or intrigue factor that I imagine it did in the 1970's. Surveillence, bugging and tracking have come a long way since then! Definitely a good view though. Thanks for the tip.
