How about these?
Two relationship films that are engaging and fun with little sap.
"Before Sunrise"- Was an independent film that didn't get a lot of notice. I saw it several years ago and was toally wrapped up in it. Lonely guy meets girl on a train ride in Europe. The two strangers spend the night walking and conversing through some great scenery in Vienna.
"Serendipity"- Great chemistry between John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. Fate. Lots of fun and some good comedy as well.
A film that everyone should see once, "Sling Blade" with Billy Bob Thornton. A well done film. Not a scary film as the title might imply.
"Gattaca" is an interesting entry into the sci-fi realm. About a genetically inferior man trying to blend into a world where only superior
humans can excel and be accepted.
BTW, did you ever get to see "Rudy" with Sean Astin? This is another one not to overlook.
That's 5 from me!
