Bachelor Mother (1939)
Just ok. Not as much Christmas atmosphere as I had hoped for.
Beyond Tomorrow (1940)
I was hyped up for this one but it was not as good as I had hoped either. Not bad though but not really hyped for repeated viewings. I think the lower budget "B" film hampers it.
I'll Be Seeing You (1944)
The subject of my classic film Christmas Card this year. Second time watch. Good film. Good atmosphere with Shirley Temple that really is the bright light in this film. Great cast but I didn't really think Joseph Cotton & Ginger Rogers really clicked.
Meet Me In St. Louis (1944)
First time watch. Ok. Good cast but not really my cup of tea.
The Cheaters (1945)
Nice underrated Christmas film. Rarely shown. Caught it on TCM as a first time watch. Good plot.
It's A Wonderful Life (1946)
My favorite movie and I watch it every season. Couldn't really get into it this year though. Could be a sign I need to take a break from it for a while.
One Magic Christmas (1985)
Worth a watch. Second time view. Harry Dean Stanton is good in it.
Serendipity (2001)
Primarily a "chick flick" I guess but it is a guilty pleasure of mine. I enjoy the chase of fate in this and like the actors. Eugene Levy has a fun hilarious role as a store clerk!
Except for a few various TV episodes, that is it!
Merry Christmas!
