Hey Jules...I have a 98 Disc and just had my steering box replaced. The seals did not need changed. I got a used box. As far as an online shop for parts...I have tons of luck at junkyards. I pay pennies compared to dollars! If you haven't yet, you may want to check them out in your area. Also, you don't always have to buy land rover factory parts, a lot of auto places can find the parts you may need at a much lower cost.
