Range Rover Alternator

I have a '90 rang rover classic, and the alternator went out. I pulled the old one, got the new one in later. I got the thing installed about a week later yet. I hooked up the battery cable and the alt. light is on on the dash board. I have to have a wire hooked up wrong, or a dead short in one of the wires. The old alt. tested bad, so I know that it needed the new one, and I took a picture of the wires on the back of the old one when I took it out, but there were two of the wires that had come off, I think I have them right. Does any one have a picture or diagram of the wires for the back of this alternator?
