P1179 Code

I need a little help, if possible, identifying a P1179 code for a 1996 Land Rover Discovery. It failed the OBD II test when inspected. I am having no luck finding out a possible solution or where to start. I believe it is air/fuel metering fault. Any help would be apprecaited on where to start.
