I have a 1995 land rover discovery with a 3.9 engine. It will not start half the time.It keeps fouling spark plugs. And we have to change the oil because we are getting fuel in the oil trying to start it after so many times. We have changed the injectors, dis.cap, mass air flow meter, starter, and a lot of spark plugs. When it does start it is chugging and sounds very rough. Then it dies and will not start. So you can not drive it any where because it will not go very far and will not start again. We thought we had bad fuel. Then we had the fuel pressure checked. It was fine. The person we bought it from put a water pump on it.We have only driven it a couple of months before this started happening. And now it has been parked over a year.I can not find anyone who can repair landrovers. The dealer is over 100 miles away. Please help if you can tell what to try next.Or if you had this problem and what you had to do.thanks.
