I've read in many forums that this may result if the battery is disconnected before letting the Nav System to power down. I checked with my dealer the other day and they claim it damages the CD Drive/Computer rendering it useless. This situation doesn't really apply to my issue because it was functioning fine until it stopped while running errands. I think what bothers me most is the fact that disconnecting the battery may cause damage. Seems a little too sensitive for such a high dollar item. If anyone else has any advise I'd love to hear it.
