cd changer not found

Hi all...wondered if anyone has disconnected their cd changer, hooked back up and radio does not toggle to Cd anymore?? Tried the clear/reset button on the changer but nothing. Also tried disconnecting the battery, then keyed in code thinking it would hard reset and recognize, but nothing. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks
