I have a 99 disc 1 with no door light control on driver door. Wire from switch in pillar has fallen off. If yours has ether come off and grounded or just grounded out, your lights will stay on as if the door is open. I wish i could find the wire from my switch but looks like fender needs to be partially removed to gain access. One screw to remove switch.If light goes out with switch removed, switch is the problem.Be careful not to lose wire if it is is still connected. Good luck.
