So I have made the mistake of not pricing higher the first time, but instead, on occasion, actually "throwing in" the upper thighs (1/4 leg wax, eh?) and letting the client know i did it "on the house". not great business to have a client question why the next time they get waxed the bill is higher than the first time. AND, after waxing for almost ten years now, i am finally waking up (and tuning in to what you have always said oh queen) that it should be by time, with that range of pricing to back you. I am currently re-vamping my pricing to do EXACTLY what was recommended by thou, o queen, for i am tired of waxing virgin bikinis that take 1 and 1/2 times longer to clear for the same price as regular clients. And if a client gets waxed for the summer and decides to save some money and not wax through winter, by golly when they return and need yet again a virgin wax job, i will be compensated!!!! Oh Queen I hear your words of wisdom, albeit ten years too late, but better late than never!!!
can't wait to catch up ; ) talia, the west side waxer, los angeles, ca.
