I graduated from esthetics school in Canada this past March. I am now living in the USA and have recently received my permit to work. I have always wanted to work for myself and at 29 years old have not yet. I have decided, even though I haven't work in the esthetics industry yet, to open my own waxing only spa! I found an affordable commercial space to lease and am signing the contract tomorrow. I am freaking out because I know that I want to do this but feel odd to be opening my own business when I haven't actually gained much experience. I felt like I was good with wax in school and a few weeks ago ordered the Berins starter kit. My poor husband has been my model!I am still practicing....
Has anyone else gone out on their own right out of school? Any advice?
