I have a hairdresser friend that "breaks up" with this type of client. He tells them its just not working out between us. We just seem to misunderstand each other. I assume when you book your appointment that you value my services. But when you don't show up you took the time of a client that does value my services. This is not a good experience for either one of us and I just can't do it any more. Some promice that it will never happen again, so he says well ok, but you must pay in advance from now on. That works for him. Glad my employer makes them reserve their app. with credit card, no shows are charged 50% of which I get half. Its better than nothing and hope it teaches them the value of their appointment.
